United have lost five in the last six games in all competitions (if you include the loss in the league cup against Sunderland) but they come across a Cardiff side that are propping up the bottom of the table. Cardiff have had a torrid couple of months but the win against Bolton in the FA Cup last weekend would've instilled some confidence. Despite United's bad form they should be able to turn over Cardiff. Arsenal are still third favourites for the title despite still sitting at the top - consensus seems that they don't have the staying power. Southampton have really faltered after their encouraging start to the season and it's predicted that Arsenal will still be top by the weekend.
Merseyside derby's are always hotly contested affairs as Everton visit Anfield. Everton's form has been a little mixed of late whilst Liverpool seemed to have come through their bad patch. Should be a close encounter but Liverpool to just edge it.
Wednesday sees Chelsea host West Ham in a London derby, but West Ham are currently sitting in the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Chelsea have been plugging away and getting those results and are only two points off the lead and it should be a convincing home win. Lastly, the big match of the week is at White Hart Lane between the two form sides of the Premier League. Manchester City have gained 18 points out of a possible 18 whilst Tottenham have 16 out of 18. City's away form has been marginal in the past but they seem to have got over that and putting on a good away run. Spurs' form has improved since Tim Sherwood took the realm and surprisingly, Spurs have come out as marginal winners.
