Introduction to Denny's Football Predictions

Hello and welcome to my football prediction blog...!

As with a lot people, football is a big part of my life.  It all started in 2010 when a few people where I worked decided to do predictions on football matches for a bit of fun.  Being me, I decided to try and devise a scheme to help assist myself getting more correct than the others.  Initially, it was using a pen and paper, just trying to calculating the outcome based on the form of both teams.  Then it just started to grow from there; next thing I did was rope in a friend, who is a bit of a spreadsheet genius.  Together we created a spreadsheet of my theories and ideas and the Football Predictor was born!

The Football Predictor is probably unrecognisable from its infancy and it's grown into what it is today.  I still see it as continuously growing and morphing as it's still not the finished article, however, I think it's now time to start writing about it and showing it to the world.

Basically, every week I run the Football Predictor and it churns out predictions for football matches up and down the country, along with other main football leagues around the world.  The predictor is purely based on maths and for every game the predictor will grade each match as follows...

HHHHH
HHHH
HHH
HH
H
D
A
AA
AAA
AAAA
AAAAA

Now, hopefully that does seem pretty self explanatory, however, I will explain what these mean.  Each match will have one of the above gradings, where 'H' stands for home win, 'D' stands for draw and 'A' stands for away win.  So, for example, 'HHHHH', predicts a right thrashing whilst a 'H' depicts a marginal home win. A 'HHH' is basically somewhere in between.  Same for away wins - you get the picture.  Draws are draws and you really can't predict a convincing draw.

As mentioned, I produce these each week for the weekend ahead, so keep an eye out for them.  If you do similar football predictions with your friends or work colleagues, then I hope you can find this of use.

Make sure you don't miss a week by following the blog and I would be very grateful if you could +1 it if you like what you see, or share it using the other social media options.

Enjoy and keep it football...!
